About
Aloha! I'm Dan, a front-end developer specializing in web accessibility.
I previously served as the ADA Coordinator at the University of Hawaiʻi, where I was responsible for ensuring the university's digital content met ADA and WCAG requirements. Since then, I've worked independently with organizations of all sizes and across industries, from small businesses to global companies, universities, and government agencies.
My approach is hands-on. I test websites, apps, and documents with assistive technologies and different ways of navigating, then dig into the code to understand what's going wrong and how to fix it.
The goal is to make things work better, not just hand over a report.
